The valet guys were friendly but everyone else seemed confused on why they were there. The front desk was awkward and the aquatic center attendee was so over it all. I don’t know if they are underpaid or burnt out or both. We had dinner at the restaurant, all the food was exceptional except for the kids pizza, $10 for a Tony’s microwaveable pizza which was burnt. our dessert wasn’t put in at first, then they were out of what we had ordered 15minutes prior to that, then we received it and it was soggy and gross. The peach cobbler looked so unappetizing my son would even try it. The server stated the kitchen staff was upset with her and didn’t want to talk to her. The facilities were beautiful but our room could have been cleaner. The bed was on the harder side.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the room had a great view. The front desk was friendly and cordial upon checking in. There was a young man working the gift shop, who was extremely welcoming upon us arriving. He’d asked if could assist with anything, gave recommendations on which restaurants had good food on the property. I felt so welcomed after that interaction. I wish i could remember his name because he should be recognized, he wasn’t the only one but the most memorable. Great staff at this hotel!

Well I was a bit nervous from reading some reviews but we decided to give this resort a try and we were glad we did. It is a cabin feel to it but the room we had had a great view of the mountains, golf course, and lake. The breakfast was buffet but again we felt it was excellent value. The hotel is also close to the old Colorado springs and new Colorado spring areas (10 -15 min drive) tucked away in a quiet neighbor hood. If we ever go back this is where we would stay.

Pool Services were fantastic! Our Pool Server was Kadence (or maybe Kandice). She was amazing. Very helpful, attentive and hardworking. She was also cleaning up towels, straightening chairs and bringing waters to guests. She took her job very seriously and really seemed to care about providing exceptional service for CMR patrons at the pool. She is a gem - you should promote her or at least give her a bonus!

We came for a wedding anniversary and enjoyed the views, restaurants, beach and pool, and the golf course. We loved the amazing gym as well. We loved that they had a private adults only pool area.
